Maruti Suzuki, India’s most popular automobile company, has improved its standard warranty package. Starting on July 9, 2024, all new Maruti automobiles will come with a standard guarantee of three years or 100,000 kilometres. This is a big change from the old warranty of two years or 40,000 kilometres.
What does the new warranty cover?
The new standard guarantee covers important parts and systems:
- Motor and transmission
- Mechanical parts
- Systems for electricity
- Air conditioning
⚠️ Note: Consumables are still not included, but customers will pay less for labour throughout the warranty term.

Maruti Suzuki has also introduced three new extended warranty packages to give you even more peace of mind:

| Royal Platinum | 5 years / 1.40 lakh km |
| Solitaire | 6 years / 1.60 lakh km |
Depending on what they want, customers can buy these plans when they pick up their car or later.
